As part of our aim to provide financial services to those most in need and in order to maximise financial sustainability Liberty Credit Union has applied to the Financial Services Authority to extend its common bond so that anyone who lives or works in the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham can become a member.

We have been working with Barking & Dagenham Council and a steering group of other partners to deliver a credit union for the borough over the past few months.

We expect to launch Liberty Credit Union in Barking & Dagenham in the New Year.
